Adding categories to records is an excellent way to stay organized. A Multiple select field is similar to a Single select field - it allows you to select predetermined options from a list. You can assign one category to a record with a Single select field, with a Multiple select field you can select as many options as you'd like.
Single select
A single select field is ideal when you want to be able to select a single option from a preset list of options. Best choice for categorizing projects, like priorities, task types, and stages, such as "Qualified" or "Offer made".
Add a single select field to an app

to create a new single select field or tap the "pen icon" to edit an existing oneChange the

Fill the field with options by clicking on the

💡 Note: Single select fields allow you to select one. They replace each other when a new one is selected.
Multi select
To assign multiple options to a record you can add a Multiple select field to your app. This works great if you would like to tag a record with multiple options such as skills or languages spoken by applicants.
