Manually adding options to a category field can be time consuming and sometimes we make mistakes.
Using Tape, you can copy and paste a list of options into a category field in just a few seconds. Just follow these simple steps:
Tap on the
...menu next to your desired app or click on the drop down menu at the top of a record within the app and chooseCustomize fieldsHere in the app creator, select an already existing
Single selectorMultiple selectfield by clicking the "pen icon" or add a new one by clicking on+Hover over to e.g. an Excel file and copy the appropriate data
Go back to Tape, tap
Add optionand copy the data into the newly appearing option space
So, you eliminate the risk of mistakes, can presort them alphabetically (e.g., in Excel) and save time. Each option's colors will automatically rotate.
