Tape

What’s on your personal calendar for today? With Tape, you can see e.g. events, tasks, and projects on a calendar to help you manage your time, workload, and deadlines. Everyone in Tape has their own personal calendar.

Find all the events you're scheduled to participate in, all of the tasks you have been assigned, and all the records you're following by viewing your calendar.

Click on the 📅 icon in your right sidebar to access the calendar

The selected date is displayed with all events for this day

Use <code>&lt;</code> or <code>&gt;</code> to move backward or forwards within the days

Open the month view by clicking on the dropdown next to the date displayed. Use <code>&lt;</code> or <code>&gt;</code> to move backward or forwards within the months. Pick your day by clicking on a date.

Click on the "Today-Icon" to easily come back to today´s day 

- Click on the 📅 icon in your right sidebar to access the calendar
- The selected date is displayed with all events for this day
- From here you can easily:
- Use <code>&lt;</code> or <code>&gt;</code> to move backward or forwards within the days
- Open the month view by clicking on the dropdown next to the date displayed. Use <code>&lt;</code> or <code>&gt;</code> to move backward or forwards within the months. Pick your day by clicking on a date.
- Click on the "Today-Icon" to easily come back to today´s day 
   

At the calendar menu, you can specify which types of events you'd like to see on your personal calendar.

Click on the dropdown menu next to <code>Calendar</code> on the top right

Specify your calendar by check-marking what you would like to see:

- All records
- <a href="https://help.tapeapp.com/en/articles/6492143-notifications#h_8c34bd9252">Following records</a> 
- Assigned <a href="https://help.tapeapp.com/en/articles/6429807-checklist-field">checklist entries</a>

- Hover over the options and click the three dots menu on the right side
- Choose a color

- Click on the 📅 icon in your right sidebar to access the calendar
- Click on the dropdown menu next to <code>Calendar</code> on the top right
- Choose <code>Select calendars</code>
- Specify your calendar by check-marking what you would like to see:
  - <a href="https://help.tapeapp.com/en/articles/6429901-reminder">Reminders</a>
  - All records
  - <a href="https://help.tapeapp.com/en/articles/6492143-notifications#h_8c34bd9252">Following records</a> 
  - Assigned <a href="https://help.tapeapp.com/en/articles/6429807-checklist-field">checklist entries</a>
- Selecting calendar color:
  - Hover over the options and click the three dots menu on the right side
  - Choose a color

Show completed entries - if a record is completed or not completed can be specified with <a href="https://help.tapeapp.com/en/articles/6374587-status-field">Tape’s status field</a>.

Click to select <code>Show completed entries</code>

- Click on the 📅 icon in your right sidebar to access the calendar
- Click on the dropdown menu next to <code>Calendar</code> on the top right
- Click to select <code>Show completed entries</code>

You also have the option to share calendars, which will push specific events from your Tape calendar to an external calendar.

Choose <code>Private</code> and click on the three dots menu on the right side

Enter this link to your favorite calendar e.g. add a subscribed calendar on your iPhone

- Click on the 📅 icon in your right sidebar to access the calendar
- Click on the dropdown menu next to <code>Calendar</code> on the top right
- Select <code>Share calendars</code>
- Choose <code>Private</code> and click on the three dots menu on the right side
- Specify your settings
- Click <code>Copy calendar link</code>
- Enter this link to your favorite calendar e.g. add a subscribed calendar on your iPhone

 💡 With the public link you have the option that the titles of the events are not shown by selecting <code>Show only free/busy</code>

<b>Add events to your personal calendar</b>

Any app that has a date field can be used to add events to your calendar by creating a new record. Learn more about apps and how to customize the date field to show events in your calendar.
